Every trip to Barnes & Noble requires the purchase of a new book: most recently a new Stephen King book. This is why I avoid trips to Barnes & Noble, but am over the moon with excitement every time the need presents itself. The last time it did, I purchased Stephen King’s The Outsider: his most recent release.
The Novel is a crime mystery with just enough of King’s supernatural touch. We get to revisit an old character, which is such a fun surprise I squealed out loud. I breezed through this novel in about four days because I couldn’t put it down. A significant difference from the last King novel I’d tucked under my belt.
It will be a few more years before I’ll be able to say I’ve read every book King has ever written, but of the ones I have, I’d have to say this is the best. If you feel like getting sucked into suspense for a few days, this is a recommended read.
